The Danish designer Henrik Vibskov is not just a fantastic designer but probably what you would call a mulittalent. Since he took his departure from the recognized Design Central St Martins in London in 2001 he has created many award-winning collections that are spotted on celebrities such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Björk, The Arctic Monkeys, Sigur Ros and Franz Ferdinand, and and time being he is the only official, Scandinavian designer at fashion week for men in Paris. On top of that he is playing drums for the Danish electronic musician Trentemøller and has several art exhibitions behind him at for example MoMA in New York and Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
His style is controversial. He challenges the existing shapes and colors and creates new ones - but often with reference to the tailor tradition. His childrenswear is the latest shot at the strain. This collection is characterized by clear, strong colors, and the popular loos fit velvet trousers for women has been translated into a children style.
